I WONDER if the residents of Billinge with 01744 telephone numbers are aware that they have not had the St Helens phone book distributed to them by BT for a number of years now.

I WOULD like to reply to the person who the other week wrote complaining about the council threatening to fine people who left their bins in public places 'It’s not us that leaves bins on the pavement’ (Dear Star, April 24).

Dog dirt ruins Haydock field

I FIND it disgusting the amount of dog walkers who parade their dogs in the field to the rear of Clipsley Lane, Haydock.

ENOUGH is said about the failings of our NHS. There are many excellent units within this wonderful service and unfortunately I have had to use them.

AS the parent of one of the students who took part in the protest at St Aelreds against the proposed merger with Newton High School I believe that several key points should be raised.
