IT worries me how HGV and wide load lorries feel able to drive up and down Mill Lane in Sutton.
The road is not wide enough, especially given that most homes on that street have off-road parking for one car with another parked in front of their homes. At rush hours – especially at the end of the school day – it is very busy and really dangerous.
It’s not made any worse by the CYCLOPS junction, though I know the lorries struggle to turn from Elton Head Road on to Mill Lane, so my question is why not avoid it entirely?
These roads aren’t made to handle them and the other vehicles too and there are so many.
