RESIDENTS in parts of St Helens have been hit by a loss of power this morning (Thursday) as Storm Pia hits.
Addresses around Parr in the WA9 postcode have been affected.
Scottish Power says the issue was reported at 7.54am.
They add that power is expected to be returned later this morning, by around 11am but the incident remains ongoing.

A cause of the power cut has not yet been cited. A Scottish Power statement said: "We are aware of a fault in your area. If you require more information please call us on: Central and Southern Scotland: 0800 092 9290 . Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and North Shropshire: 0800 001 5400."
