REGARDING the plans for a new railway station at Carr Mill.
Has a survey of people in St Helens been carried out to see if we do actually want this station or whether the link line – St Helens Central to St Helens Junction - would be preferred?
If this Carr Mill station actually did happen, they would need a siding at Garswood for trains running on the Merseyrail network only.
They’d be better spending the money on car parks for Central if the link line is a non-starter.
