I DISAGREE with those Star readers who say “there’s enough food and drink” venues in St Helens town centre... in fact there’s not enough.
If you speak to many locals why they don’t go to town for a night out it is because there’s not enough venues to visit.
Certainly not enough high-end venues with decent food and drink.
That’s why many of the locals tend to go Liverpool or Manchester and completely bypass town, sadly.
