WE enjoyed a beautiful autumn day on Sunday in Taylor Park, where the kite festival was held.
It was a wonderful event and heartwarming to see so many families on the big hill enjoying making kites and looking at the creations soaring in the wind overhead.
My boys and I love this park and when the leaves turn golden in autumn it is a splendid sight.
After reading about how the play park had been been vandalised there the week previously following an act of stupidity, it was good to see it bringing so much joy to families.
Well done to the Friends of Taylor Park.
