ON January 26 there was an antiques fair held at the Rainhill Millennium Hall.
I went in to the village unaware of this and found cars parked in every available space.
I am disabled in such a way that I need to fully open my door to get in or out. I parked on the yellow hatched area, displaying my blue badge, in the Co-op car park and went to do a little shopping.
I was only a short while but when I returned a large car had squeezed between me and the disabled bays, leaving me about nine inches to open my door.
After much struggling and severe pain I managed to get in. I was still suffering the day afterwards and I am not sure if I have damaged a knee replacement that is still repairing.
Whoever it was please try to show more consideration for others.
