I AM looking for information. My partner is Italian. Her Grandfather was a prisoner of war in St Helens during the Second World War. His name was Deano Cerredi. He was placed with a very kind family by the name of Entwhistle.
Marjorie Entwistle wrote to the family after the war and often sent parcels. The Entwistles lived on Grafton Street and may have owned a shop? If you are a close relation of Marjorie we would really like to hear from you. Any further information about Deano's stay in England would be most welcome.
