Liverpool draw 3-3 with Chelsea at Langtree Park

A LANGTREE Park crowd numbering around 1,000 saw Liverpool under 21s give up a three goal lead in the draw with Chelsea.

In an entertaining game, first half strikes from Michael Ngoo and Jack Robinson gave the Reds a 2-0 lead.

When Krisztian Adorjan glanced in a header shortly after the break it looked all over.

But Chelsea bounced back, with their direct up the middle approach from substitute Jeremie Boga paying dividends.

Boga pegged back two before Chelsea equalised with a 66th minute penalty from Lewis Baker afte keeper Peter Gulacsi had brought down Patrick Bamford in the box.

Liverpool’s next action at Langtree Park will be on Wednesday, November 28 against Borussia Dortmund in the Next Gen.

Liverpool confirmed today that vital group deciding clash against Italian giants Inter Milan will be at Saints’ ground on Tuesday, January 8 with a 7pm kick off.
