SAINTS scrum half Danny Richardson scored his side's first try in yesterday's triumph over Widnes at the Magic match.
Playing against his hometown team Richardson had a fine all-round to take the man of the match award in the 38-18 victory.
His try was set up by Dom Peyroux's barnstorming run - a player singled out for praise by coach Justin Holbrook.
Bernard Platt was in Newcastle to capture the action.
