SAINTS coach Justin Holbrook says he is blessed with four quality halves and would trust any two of them to do the job.

But this is his conundrum. He can, obviously only select two, although there is scope to use one of them on the bench.

Matty Smith's return from fitness after two bad injuries this year, Danny Richardson's rapid advancement, Theo Fages sparkiness and versatility and the displacement of Jonny Lomax from full back has left Holbrook with an abundance of riches.

It is a far cry from three years ago when Nathan Brown had to cobble a pairing from full back Paul Wellens, centre Jordan Turner, back row Mark Flanagan and utility Lance Hohaia.

It didn't do too badly though, did it? Saints won the Grand Final with that combo.

But who would you select to get Saints over the line this year?

Each pairing has its merits, or the here and now and for going forward, but we will have to trust Holbrook to make the call.
