SAINTS hooker James Roby is fit again, but he will not be rushed back for Friday night's derby clash with Warrington.
Instead coach Nathan Brown will give the England number nine a run-out in the last game of the regular season at Hull.
Roby has been missing since damaging his ankle at Castleford - shortly after an identical injury on his other limb had sidelined him for 10 weeks.
Brown said: "He could play on Friday and get through it ok, but it is not worth the risk.
"It has been so long now and everything is ticked, but he’ll definitely be right for the Hull game.
"If he comes back next week (against Hull) he won't have been rushed and will have done everything that he needs to do and he should be fine."
