The Easter holiday began with a number of St Helens Striders travelling to Lancashire on Good Friday to take part in Caldervale 10 mile race.
First Strider to cross the finish line was Richard Seville in a time of 1:10:26 followed by Brian Middleton in 1:12:07, Paul Demore in 1:13:29, Les Abbott in 1:16:14, Alex Abbott in 1:26:38 and Rachel Simm in 2:01:35.
Easter Sunday took part in the Hale 5 miler race, which replaced the Runcorn Bridge run this year, which had been cancelled. Once again Richard Seville was the first Strider home in a time of 31:15 followed by David Navis in 34:31.
First lady Strider was Julie Pennington in 34:45 followed by Rich Worsley in 34:58, Jeanette Fisher in 36:10, Catherine Roberts in 36:32, Cheryl Orrick in 38:02, Joanne Keogh in 39:29, Paul Carr in 50:06, Anthony Jones in 51:43, Colin Leyland in 54:28, Vanessa Leyland in 54:28, Rachel Simm in 55:43 and Lisa Worsley and Lorraine Kelly Swan bringing it home together in 1:00:31.
Meanwhile 5 St Helens Striders travelled to Ulverston to take part in the Ulverston Triathlon.
First Strider to finish was Steve Wright in 1:53:22, Joanne Jackson in 1:55:46, Mike Brunt in 1:57:28, Mike Cox in 2:01:16 and Debbie Hill in 2:25:45. Well done to all, particularly Steve, Mike Cox and Debbie on their first triathlon.
