FRESH from his successful super-middleweight debut against George Beroshvili, St Helens boxer Martin Murray makes a swift return to the ring this Saturday.
The 32-year-old Fingerpost fighter will take on Croatia's Mirzet Bajrektarevic - a southpaw who normally fights at light heavyweight - in a scheduled eight-rounder at the Manchester Arena.
Murray made short work of his last opponent, rocking Beroshvili with a body shot in round two, and wants to get a similar job done.
Murray said: "It was a clinical performance last time - it's what I needed to do.
"I'm not banging any drums over who I beat but I won the way I am supposed to as opposed to a couple of bad performances directly after the Martinez and Sturm fights.
"I am buzzing about the weight and looking forward to it.
"I want a similar type performance on Saturday. Everything is good and I am back on a good bill and looking forward to it."
