THATTO Heath Crusaders Under 15s secured the North West Counties Premier Division title with a 38-6 win over Halton Farnworth Hornets in their penultimate game of the season and in doing so won all four trophies on offer.

Having already secured the North West Counties Cup, Lancashire Cup and War of the Roses the Crusaders completed the quadruple in front of their home support a feat never achieved by a junior side.

Games against the Hornets have proven to be no easy task this season, however once the Crusaders got into their stride there was no stopping them. Leading 16-0 at oranges they conceded an early second-half try that was a wake up call that the game wasn’t over and they duly ran in a further four more tries to seal what was ultimately an emphatic win.

Try scorers were Elliot Kirwan, 2, Ben Heyes, Connor Robertshaw, 2, Chris Follin and Brad Pinder.

The win sealed the league title for the second successive season and was just reward for a superb effort throughout the year and was a testament to the hard work, commitment and effort the whole squad has shown.
