SAINTS coach Paul Wellens has had to make changes to his squad for Saturday evening's Super League clash against Catalans Dragons in Perpignan.

Matty Lees has picked up a two-game suspension, so misses out, while Mark Percival is sidelined under the concussion protocols having failed his HIA after taking a high shot from Wigan prop Liam Byrne.

NRL recruit Waqa Blake, who did not feature against Wigan, is also left out of the squad with Wellens suggesting yesterday that there were options to play Ben Davies or Sione Mata'utia in the centres.

Hooker Jake Burns, wing Tee Ritson and prop Noah Stephens all come into Wellens’ 21-man squad for the clash.

Saints are league leaders and have won three games in a row, but Wellens expects a tough test from Catalans.

He said: "They have got some big bodies through the middle of the field and the acquisition of Satae will add to that.

"The two Toms, Davies and Johnstone, on the wing are exceptional wingers who are really good at getting the team down the field and in and around there are players like Mike McMeeken, who is vastly experienced and can be hard to handle as well.

"And then players like Jordan Abdul, Arthur Morgue, Jayden Nikorima and Theo Fages Fages - a lot of good players who work well together."
