A NUMBER of bans and charges have come from Saints' Good Friday derby clash with Wigan and the other games over the Super League weekend.

Saints prop Matty Lees has picked up a Grade C charge for head contact and a two match penalty notice.

That suspension will rule him out of the weekend's trip to Catalans Dragons trip and the Challenge Cup clash with Warrington Wolves the following week.

Wigan have two players up on charges arising from the game - forwards Tyler Dupree and Liam Byrne.

Byrne was red carded for his high shot on Mark Percival and that has been referred to the tribunal on a Grade E charge.

The tackle saw Percival leave the field for a HIA, which he subsequently failed.

Dupree's Grade C head contact is not the incident for which he was yellow carded for a raised his elbow - which has had no further action.

On the elbow incident, the panel's reason for no further action was: "Player braces for contact and initial contact is with the chest and rides up quickly to the opponent’s neck as the opponent slips prior to contact."

Match Review Panel have issued the following sanctions.

Justin Sangare, Leeds Rhinos, Head Contact, Grade C, 1 Match Penalty Notice.

Cameron Smith, Leeds Rhinos, Dangerous Contact, Grade  B, 1 Match Penalty Notice (Higher end of sanction grade).

Matty Lees, St Helens, Head Contact, Grade C, 2 Match Penalty Notice (Higher end of sanction grade).

Tyler Dupree, Wigan Warriors, Head Contact, Grade C 1, Match Penalty Notice.

Liam Byrne, Wigan Warriors, Head Contact, Grade E, Refer to Tribunal.

Paul Vaughan, Warrington Wolves, Dangerous Throw/Lift, Grade C,  2 Match Penalty Notice (Higher end of the sanction grade).

Harvey Livett, Huddersfield Giants, Head Contact, Grade B, £250 Fine.

Vaughan's suspension will rule him out of Warrington's Challenge Cup tie against Saints in a fortnight.
