St.Helens Sutton A.C.s England International Matt Crehan kept up his fine form to win the Liverpool Half Marathon in a time of 1 hour 8 minutes 4 seconds, beating over 7,000 other runners.
Other Sutton athletes competing in the Half Marathon were Matt Blake clocking an impressive 1hr 17 minutes 18 seconds 35th, Veteran MV55 Barry Graney in a very good time of 1 Hour 29 minutes 16 seconds 368th, Joe Byrne I hour 28 minutes 14 seconds 378th and Michael Brussels 1 hour 30 minutes 39 seconds 573rd.
Meanwhile in the 10-Mile race Jane Makin ran 2 hours 6 minutes for 460th place.
