THE historic estate of Tatton Park played host to the third round of the Manchester Cross Country League.

Pleasingly St Helens Sutton A.C had a healthy turn out of runners in all age groups.

Superb Standout individual performances on the day came from Bobby Birkett and Liam Johnson who both won their respective age group races.

The clubs highest placed team on the day was the U17 Men's team, Liam Johnson, Gabriel Mullen and Will Vose finishing in an excellent first place.

Last week's Cheshire Cross Country Championships brought further good news for the club, with Joe Buckley finishing 5th in the Senior Mens Race, opening up the door for selection for Cheshire's Inter Counties Cross Country Team.
