WINDLE Labour rattled eight goals past Orford FC in their last game of the season.
It capped off a successful first year for the club who joined the Cheshire Football League Division 2 from the Warrington football league in July.
They finished top of the league, nine points ahead of runners up Deva Christleton, securing promotion to League 1.
In their 8-1 victory over Orford goals came from Warren Jevons 3, man of the match Dean Curtis 2, Ryan Cook, Gary Bennett and Ross Trust.
From the first weekend in August Windle were never out of the top three positions and sealed the title in early May.
The team played 22 games, winning 16, drawing four and losing only two.
Striker Ryan Cook finished the year as the division’s top goalscorer with 27 goals in 26 games in all competitions.
