St Helens Striders
A BITTERLY cold Saturday was home to the 47th Parbold hill race in Ormskirk at the weekend.
The 6.75 mile trail race takes in plenty of scenic views from some very steep inclines yet is one of the club's favourite and most well turned out event; this year was no exception with 33 Striders taking part.
First Strider to cross the line was Kev Brennan in 49:51 and with Gill Lee being the club's first woman in 1:01:59.
