THE seconds finally got the result that their performances from the last few weeks deserved.
Prescot started brightly with Jones, Heaps and Johnson causing problems for the Salford defence.
Johnson scored midway through the first half before Heaps doubled the lead just before the interval. In the second half Johnson added a third before the University pulled a goal back.
More great work from the Prescot midfield led to Johnson getting his hat-trick and securing the points for Prescot.
