Lucy Renshall
LUCY Renshall was named Female Junior Player of the Year at the 2015 British Judo Awards on Saturday.
Renshall, who comes from Eccleston, has enjoyed tremendous success in her final year at Junior level winning six Junior European Cup medals and a senior bronze at the Lisbon European Open in October.
However the highlights have undoubtedly been her Junior European Championship gold in Oberwart, Austria in September followed by her Junior World bronze in Abu Dhabi last month.
Renshall, who trains full time at the British Judo Centre of Excellence in Walsall, will move into senior level next year alongside fellow St Helens judoka Bekky Livesey
