Adding swimming and cycling to his repertoire, Andy Bridges took part in Liverpool Olympic distance triathlon on Sunday.

The weather wasn't kind and the competitors were not only tackling three tough disciplines of a triathlon but also the remains of tropical storm Bertha. Andy completed the course in a credible 3.44.09.
