ST HELENS darter Michael Smith has rocked the darts world by knocking 16-times champion Phil Taylor out of the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship.
The world junior champion, and 32 seed, produced a confident display to beat the world number one four sets to three in the second round clash.
Smith scored heavily throughout – particularly when it mattered. And he won the tie with a magnificent check out of 128, calmly slotting 18, treble 20 and bullseye to rock Alexandra Palace.
