ST HELENS College has achieved an outstanding result for the second year running in the National Student Survey (NSS) for higher education.
The newly refurbished college received the results from the 2012 NSS last month, which confirmed that the overall student satisfaction rating was 95 per cent.
Final-year students at the college took part in the survey which saw a four point increase from last year’s result, making the local college’s best rating for student satisfaction.
Jette Burford, Principal of St Helens College said: “St Helens College continues to receive outstanding results in the NSS league table, proving that our students are among the happiest in the country.
“Our students value the relevance and quality of the courses delivered and they graduate with the knowledge and skills equipped to make a significant contribution to their chosen profession.
“It is important that we gather feedback from our students and we are pleased that our students rate key areas of our delivery so highly. We also recognise that we must continue to develop and improve the quality of our teaching and learning to provide the highest level of provision.”
St Helens College is now ranked 11th in the Higher Education table of student satisfaction, in universities and colleges across the UK.
