Helen Carlyle at Sutton Manor Primary School said: “We would welcome any information about the history of Sutton Manor Community Primary School.
“In particular does anyone have definite proof of the opening date of the school?
“We have looked for a date stone but to no avail.
“Rumour has it that the school is approaching its 100th year, and we would like to celebrate in style, and on the right date!
“We would also welcome the chance to see any photographs that anyone may have of the school through the years.
“I hope that Star readers can help.”
