IT'S sad to hear of more jobs losses in the town with the proposed closure of the tax office. But would it be possible, at the same time to demolish the ugly building?
It's a total eyesore and a disgrace, not a good first impression for visitors to the town coming from the East Lancashire road through Haresfinch.
If it was a building of any character with a little history about it, it would probably be demolished like many others in the past.
Listed buildings have been demolished in so called " error", could this not be another one!
It's dilapidated and scruffy with paint peeling off, not to mention the window blinds, it looks more like a squat. It would be interesting to know who owns the building and whether they have been approached by the council about it's poor decorative condition.
