I WAS astonished in this foggy weather to see how many vehicles of all kinds are being driven without lights.
We all know that none of us can see any better in fog if we put our lights on but that’s not really the point.
We light up in fog so that other people can see us and avoid us. Tiny little side lights aren’t enough. Surely we should all drive in fog with dipped headlights at the very least.
Better still, of course, are fog lights. After all, that’s what they’re for. Please, for all our sakes, light up in fog. Be seen, be safe.
