I too am concerned about the new form of communication which I can only describe as robotic. So being a writer of sorts maybe you'd like to step along with me into the future which would be 100 years from now, or less we could end up living in a box called a room surrounded by technology.

Shop round town, no need, you can shop on-line.

Post offices and post boxes, no need, you've got e-mail. Talk to someone, try mobile or Skype. Yes you can even see who you are talking to. There's also social media.

If you like reading forget about libraries and book shops, there's always Mr Amazon to help you out.

Don't laugh, the future I see could be very real. So please, for our children of the future, think about what we're doing. Use mobiles only as a necessity or we might just end up living in a box.
