WITH reference to the readers letter by Sam Crooks “A Sad Decline”.
I left St Helens with a one way ticket and 100 pounds many years ago [28 years] have travelled around the world and recently returned to my home town.
I echo Mr Crooks sentiments completely but sadly must also mention that the negative attitude of many people old and young seems to be now the norm.
I was very happy and proud to return,but I feel my next one way ticket is on the very near horizon.
