A TEENAGE girl yob has been given an ASBO and warned she faces jail if she lights fires or causes neighbours distress.
But once again the St Helens Star cannot name a juvenile offender because a court has imposed reporting restrictions.
The 14-year-old girl from Haydock was issued with a two-year Criminal Anti-Social Behaviour Order at St Helens Magistrates' Court.
The terms of the order state:
- Entering the Brunswick Road Estate, Newton le Willows;
- Throwing anything at any house, flat, vehicle or person
- Drinking alcohol or being drunk in a public place
- Lighting a fire or being present when a fire is lit in a public place except between 1st and 8th November inclusive
- Causing harassment, alarm or distress to any person in St Helens Police in St Helens worked closely with St Helens Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Unit to gather evidence to obtain the CRASBO.
If she breaks any of these conditions, she will be liable, on conviction, to a term of imprisonment, not exceeding five years, a fine, or both.
