ST CUTHBERT’S High School’s second dance and music festival has been a roaring success.
The event featured street dancing, ballet, hip-hop, country and Bollywood.
Music students showed formidable talents across a range of acts, performing samba, rock and pop. The school’s own brass band also performed.
Nicky Hannah, school leader of PE, said: “Some of the acts were choreographed by students past and present, and reflects the commitment and enthusiasm they have for the arts at St Cuthbert’s.
“We welcomed back students who are studying dance A-level at Sutton Academy, who complemented our own cheerleading troupe, piano and clarinet soloists. It was a terrific evening.”
