JUMP racing fans will be heading for Haydock Park Racecourse in big numbers for the Betfair Chase Festival on Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19.

The eyes of the racing world will be on the racecourse when the current Cheltenham Gold Cup holder Long Run is poised to take on three times Betfair Chase hero Kauto Star. The three-mile race, worth £200,000 in prize-money, is the major attraction and the climax of two days of top class jump racing.

Dickon White, Haydock Park's managing director, said: "The Betfair Chase Festival is the highlight of the jump racing season at Haydock Park, and we're anticipating a superb occasion.

"The meeting puts the racecourse in the national spotlight, and the likely appearance of two Cheltenham Gold Cup winners is the icing on the cake."

The St Helens Star has teamed up with the racecourse to offer three pairs of tickets for Betfair Chase Day - Saturday, November 19.

Our winner will receive a pair of County Stand tickets (worth £70), while two runners-up will each receive a pair of Tatts tickets (each pair is worth £44).
