THREE teenagers are still being questioned by police in connection with an alleged knife attack that left a man with severe head and facial injuries.
The three – a 16-year-old boy from Huyton, a 16-year-old from Stockbridge Village and 18-year-old man from Haydock – were arrested on suspicion of assault yesterday.
Police were called to Clipsley Lane, Haydock at around 5.40am on Monday, to reports of the incident.
The 39-year-old victim was taken to hospital after he received serious head and facial injuries, consistent with knife wounds.
Police described his condition as “serious” yesterday but it is understood he has now been released from hospital.
