THE Beat Beatles were just one of the great bands that helped make this year's Newton Music Festival another successful weekend of live music.
The vibrant and varied three-day line-up also included sets from Lazarus, The Loungs, The Jalapenos, Death by Decibels, Sheila Gott, Richboy and Charlie Don't Surf.
Even a torrential downpour of rain on the Saturday couldn't put a dampener on the crowd's spirits and the festival committee are already planning next year's event.
