A MAN has been charged with theft and criminal damage.
Jack Farrell, 32, has been charged in connection with theft and criminal damage, alleged to have happened on Saturday, May 11.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said the theft allegation relates to a mobile phone from a house in Alder Street, Newton-le-Willows.
Meanwhile, the alleged criminal damage relates to the windscreen and passenger side door of a car in Penkford Lane, Burtonwood.

Farrell, of Penkford Lane, Burtonwod, has also been charged with criminal damage, alleged to have been inflicted on a car on April 8 at Alder Street, Newton-le-Willows.
The 32-year-old is due to appear before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court today, Monday, May 13.
