A MAN who was charged with arson and breaching a restraining order after a disturbance in Newton-le-Willows has appeared in court.
Bradley Wood, 33, went before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 7.
Police confirmed they charged the suspect after a fire involving a brick wall at a property on Monday, May 6.
Wood was charged with using violence to secure entry to premises, arson and harassment – breach of a restraining order on conviction.

The 33-year-old, of Burrows Avenue, Haydock, appeared before district judge James Hatton at the court.
Wood indicated guilty pleas to the arson and harassment charges. He also admitted to using violence to secure entry to the premises.
The case was committed to Liverpool Crown Court for sentence.
Wood was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the higher court on Tuesday, June 4.
