A PUB has revealed its new look after its grand reopening following a refurbishment which has "injected new life" into the venue.
The community gathered at the popular Junction Inn pub, in Sutton last Thursday, April 25, to celebrate its relaunch after the transformation following an investment by pub company Punch.
The pub, which sits on Junction Lane, is set to be thriving at the heart of the community again, offering guests a new look and feel.
Publican Jonny, who has been at the helm of the pub since 2017 said that he is delighted with the pub’s changes.
Jonny said: “We’ve been overwhelmed with positive feedback since our reopening, and I couldn’t be happier with the pub’s transformation.
“The news of the investment was instantly welcomed as the pub was starting to look a little dated. The changes have made a huge difference, offering a welcoming space for all, from families with young children to small groups and individuals just stopping by for a drink.”
Punch says the investment has "injected new life" into the Junction Inn with new flooring and lighting to enhance the pub's space bringing warmth and modernisation.
Old fixtures and fittings throughout have been replaced and the dated décor has been given a revamp to create a brighter and colourful space giving it a fresh and contemporary feel.
Honouring Saints, the pub now also displays team memoirs, pictures and memorabilia bringing a small piece of the Totally Wicked Stadium into the heart of the Junction Inn.
Speaking on behalf of the investment, Punch Pubs & Co operations manager Jenni O’Grady said: “I’m really pleased with this investment and the changes it’s made to the Junction Inn. Jonny runs a brilliant pub which truly lies at the heart of the community in St Helens.
"Guests can expect the same fantastic service and welcome, under much nicer surroundings which will enhance their experience no matter the occasion.”
The new-look pub is now open and Jonny hopes the recent investment will attract the wider community by offering a little something for everyone.
In addition to the revamp, the pub has also launched their weekly quiz night taking place each Wednesday as well as their Saturday evening entertainment schedule.
