THERE were traffic delays on the M62 this afternoon following a "serious" crash.
Queues of traffic formed following the collision at junction six.
Emergency services were seen in attendance at the scene.

An exit slip road to the M57 northbound was closed.
In a statement National Highways said earlier today: "The M62 J6 westbound link road to the #M57 J1 northbound in #Merseyside is closed due to a serious collision.
"Emergency services are in attendance. Please allow extra time for your journey."

The road has since been reopened.
Further details about the crash have not yet been issued.
