ONE of the stabbing victims has been released from hospital after the assault in Four Acre Lane last week.

The other victim is due to be released, police add.

Officers were called at around 5am on Thursday, March 28, following reports a man in his 30s had been assaulted on Four Acre Lane and suffered stab wounds to his shoulder and hands.

A short time later officers were notified that a second man, also in his 30s, was at a house in a neighbouring street with stab wounds to the chest and back.

The man ran off but was found nearby by patrols.

The cordon was in place over the weekend in front of a property on Four Acre Lane but has now been stood down.

Police confirmed one man is out of hospital now, with the other expected to be released soon.
