A CARELESS driver who was involved in a crash and didn’t stop at the scene has been sentenced to a community order.
Keith Cavanagh, 33, was involved in a collision on Warrington Road, Rainhill on July 12 last year.
Cavanagh appeared at Liverpool Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 15.
He pleaded guilty to driving without care and attention, failing to stop after an accident, and failing to report the incident.

Cavanagh was involved in the accident in which damage was caused to another vehicle.
The 33-year-old, of St Mary’s Road, Huyton, was given an 18-month community order.
He must undertake mental health treatment, a Thinking Skills Programme and rehabilitation activity for 10 days.
Cavanagh must do 160 hours of unpaid work.
His guilty pleas were taken into account upon sentencing.
