SCOTTISH Power are working to fix a fault after a village was hit by another power cut this morning (Wednesday).
An area of Rainford lost electricity today, with the issue reported at 9.50am.
It is hoped power will be restored by 1pm.

In a statement, Scottish Power said: "There is a power cut affecting the WA11 postcode area of Rainford.
"We had no advance warning of this and first became aware of it at 9:50 am. We are aware of a previous power cut affecting your area and we apologise for this.
"Our next available engineer will attend site, to find and fix the fault, as quickly and as safely as possible.
"We expect your electricity supply to be restored by 1pm. The latest updates can be found on our website, www.spenergynetworks.co.uk.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
