SOME residents are without electricity today (Monday) after a power cut hit overnight.
Properties around Prescot Road and some nearby streets have been left without power.
The power cut was reported at 1.38am, Scottish Power said.

It is expected electricity will be restored by 6.30pm today.
A weather warning issued amid Storm Isha warned that increased power cuts were a possibility.
In a statement, Scottish Power said: "We are aware of a fault in your area. If you require more information please call us on: Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and North Shropshire: 0800 001 5400."

Meanwhile, some other properties nearby were also hit by a power cut today. Electricity has since been restored.
