THE Coronation Street actress Stephanie Davis has revealed plans to release her debut single.
Stephanie, who joined the ITV soap this year, arrived on the entertainment scene on the 2010 BBC show when displaying her singing talents in Over the Rainbow.
The former De La Salle secondary school, Eccleston, pupil, from Whiston, went on to land a role in Channel Four's Hollyoaks, as Sinead O’Connor.
In Corrie she was cast as Courtney Vance and has been involved in a storyline about a heated affair.
Now 30-year-old Stephanie has revealed she will also be displaying her singing talents once again - and heading over to America to record an album.
Writing on Instagram, she posted: "I am extremely excited to announce that my debut single will be released in May next year!
"I am about to fly out to America to start recording my debut album with some of the world's best producers!
"This album is dedicated to the fighters, the parents and all of the people who've overcome the impossible. This music is for you.
"So much has gone into the whole album & I really hope you all relate & love it as much as I do."
