SINGER Heather Small is to perform in memory of a friend at a special concert for Willowbrook Hospice.
Heather, former lead singer of the band M People, is known for hits such as ‘Search for the Hero and One Night in Heaven.
She will be coming to Prescot Parish Church, to perform live to raise vital funds for the hospice.
Heather was good friends with Jonathan Robert Stott, who was cared for at Willowbrook in 2022 before he passed away.
Heather said: “Willowbrook Hospice cared for and supported my dear friend Jonathan.
“Their care and kindness is exceptional. I’m pleased to be performing at this event, in memory of Jonathan.
“Looking forward to seeing you soon!”
Suzanne Davies, fundraising manager at the hospice, added: "We are elated to be having Heather Small perform for us.
“Fundraising can prove challenging at times and events like this help us continue to raise our profile and vital funds for Willowbrook Hospice.”
The live event will take place on Monday, December 11 and also includes performances from local artists, Olivia Parr and Tom Loughlin.
The hospice expect tickets to sell swiftly.
