LEGENDARY band The Who will perform at Saints' Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday night - and details have been released for concert-goers planning their trip.

Concert-goers can enter the stadium from 4.30pm with support acts The Standin Man 5.30pm to 6pm, UB40 ft Ali Campbell 6.30pm to 7.30pm followed by The Who 8.10pm – To End Curfew 10.30pm. 

Buying tickets on the night

The Ticket Office at the Totally Wicked Stadium will operate as a Box Office for sales of tickets on the day of the event, but people are advised to purchase well in advance via numerous online ticket vendors.

The Box Office will open at 2.30pm on the day of the event.

Parking

There will not be any parking available at the stadium site itself other than for pre-booked accessible parking.

St Helens Borough Council will be offering free parking for this event from 4pm on all council-run surface car parks. Details of all our car parks can be found here.

Town Centre Parking

There are a number of Town Centre Car Parks available:

  • Birchley Street Car Park – WA10 1HT (496 spaces) – open 24 hours
  • Tontine Multi-Storey (Pedestrian access via staircase only onto Chalon Way West, not recommended for Disabled/Accessible Parking) – Sat Nav WA10 1NU (255 spaces) closes at 23.00 – £1.50 charge (same as a St.Helens R.F.C. matchday)
  • Parr Street Surface Car Park – Sat Nav WA9 1JU (57 spaces) – opening hours vary, check on the day.
  • North John Street Surface Car Park – Sat Nav WA10 2JT (216 spaces) – opening hours vary, check on the day.
  • Hardshaw Centre Rooftop Car Park (Pedestrian access via staircase only onto Hall Street, not recommended for Disabled/Accessible Parking) – Sat Nav WA10 1EB (170 spaces) – opening hours vary, please check on the day.

By Train: The nearest train station is St Helens Central, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the stadium,

By Bus: Visitors can travel to Peasley Cross Lane using the below routes (The stop is directly outside the stadium).

Security Checks and restricted items

Security Staff will check bags and carry out searches on entry to the stadium.

No Re-entry: The stadium will be operating a no re-entry policy. Once you have entered the venue you cannot exit and re-enter under any circumstances.

Restricted Items: The following will not be permitted at the event:

  • Bags which are larger than A4 (small handbag) in size. There will be strictly no bag drop facilities at this event.
  • Folding Chairs of any kind Large
  • Umbrellas
  • An item that could be used as a weapon or compromise safety
  • Airhorns or other loud instruments
  • Your own food and alcohol.
  • Numerous outlets will be serving food and drink within the stadium
  • Glass bottles and cans
  • Plastic bottles over 500 ml
  • Fireworks, flares and smoke cannisters
  • Laser devices
  • Professional photography equipment
  • Drones

Cashless Payments

The Totally Wicked Stadium is a fully cashless venue for all food and drink and merchandise, no cash payments will be accepted.

American Express cards are not accepted.
