HEAVY traffic has been reported on the M6 close to St Helens this morning.
At around 7am on Wednesday, April 4, traffic monitoring service INRIX reported heavy traffic on the M6 Northbound.
It is said to have been caused by a broken down lorry and one lane has been closed to deal with the incident.
Heavy traffic is reported to be backed up from J21A at the Croft Interchange and J22 at the Winwick Link Road in Newton Le Willows.
