A ROAD traffic accident has been reported on the motorway close to St Helens.
On Saturday, January 7, an accident was reported on the M62 Westbound before junction 6 at Tarbock Island, close to junction one on the M57 toward Huyton.
Traffic was held by officers as they dealt with the situation, with one lane closed.
Long delays have been reported, with congestion backed up to junction seven at Rainhill Stoops.
