A COLLISION has been reported at a St Helens Linkway junction this evening.
At around 6pm on St Helens Linkway, at the junction with Elton Head Road near Sherdley Park, a road traffic collision was reported to the police.
Residents reported that police, paramedics, and the fire service were in attendance at the scene where two cars collided.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson confirmed the details of the incident, but stated it was a "damage only collision".
Traffic was reported as officers dealt with the scene, but no injuries were reported and neither driver had to go to the hospital.
